Dear Friends and Fellow Cattlemen,
On behalf of our family I would like to welcome you to our Fall 2016 Elite Female Sale. I appreciate your inter-
est in our cattle program and our catalog, and I am sincere in hoping that you will join us at the ranch on Octo-
ber 17th. This will be the third major female sale we have hosted, and like the sales that preceded this one, we
are offering the best of our genetics to date. In the past, we have been forced to reduce the herd due to drought
or debt... this event can truly be billed as a production sale, and we are pleased to share the genetic lead-time
this offering possesses.
We are very humbled and appreciate the many successes that we have experienced the last few years with C-Bar
genetics, and we really enjoy it when other breeders experience success with our genetics too. We have built
our herd around a very select group of cows families that have worked for us and our customers. Our focus has
been on selecting cattle that are balanced for the many traits that are important to the industry, and we have
put pressure on type, soundness, productivity and longevity, without breeding for any extremes or outliers.
It is important to us that we don’t take the cowboy out of the cowherd!
This offering features many young donor prospects and their offspring and/or relation. Almost every animal in
this sale is the result of our extensive ET program. They are beautiful, functional, sound cattle with balanced
EPDs. We hope you will enjoy them as much as we will miss them.
