This girl has had quite a few fans this past summer and for good reason: sound
from the ground up, long bodied, deep flanked and cowy yet still has eye appeal
and balance. Her dam, Neon, has been doing a fabulous job for us and is starting
to put together quite an impressive production record. Most recently, a son of hers
by Supremacy, FBF1 Absolute, owned by Jeremy Smith, Amanda Ash and Forest
Brook Farms, WI was named the Supreme Champion bull at the 2015 World Beef
Expo and set a new World Beef Expo Sale record being selected for $20,500 for
1/2 possession and 1/2 semen interest by Wetenkamp Farms. HS Neon Splash, a
$10,500 Make It Rain daughter, racked up numerous wins for the DeCap family, IA,
including Reserve Simmental Heifer at the Iowa State Fair 4-H show. HS Neon Sky,
by Gunslinger, was selected by Thomas Willis, WV for $7000 in the 2013 Jewels
sale and went on to be crowned the Champion Simmental in both the open and Jr
shows at the West Virginia State Fair. FBF1 Glowing Image, a $20,000 daughter
by Supremacy owned by Classy Cattle Co. and Forest Brook Farms, WI, racked
up some impressive stats in her short career including a reserve division winner in
Denver, class winner in Louisville and Reserve Champion Simmental at the World
Beef Expo! Unfortunately, she was lost at an early age or I think you would have
seen quite a bit more out of her this past year. Ferguson Cattle Co, OH recently
had a couple of Neon daughters by High Regard and Lock Down lead off the open
division in the 2015 Buckeye’s Finest Sale where they sold with top honors going
to Haley Farms, OH and Hudson Pine Farms, NY, respectively. Neon has quickly
proven her ability to pass on rib, depth of flank, hair, balance and eye appeal,
beautiful udders, and a great set of feet and legs. Don’t miss out on the opportunity
