EnvironmentalHazards

becausetheenvironmental impacthasnotbeenevaluated forthesescenarios.
OtherWarnings:
Underdosingand/orsubtherapeuticconcentrationsofextended-
releaseanthelminticproductsmayencouragethedevelopmentofparasite
resistance. It isrecommendedthatparasiteresistancebemonitored followingthe
useofanyanthelminticwiththeuseofa fecaleggcountreductiontestprogram.
TARGETANIMALSAFETY
ClinicalstudieshavedemonstratedthewidemarginofsafetyofLONGRANGE®
(eprinomectin).Overdosingat3to5timestherecommendeddoseresulted
inastatisticallysignificantreduction inaverageweightgainwhencompared
tothegrouptestedat labeldose.Treatment-related lesionsobserved inmost
cattleadministeredtheproduct includedswelling,hyperemia,ornecrosis inthe
subcutaneoustissueoftheskin.TheadministrationofLONGRANGEat3timesthe
recommendedtherapeuticdosehadnoadversereproductiveeffectsonbeefcows
atallstagesofbreedingorpregnancyorontheircalves.
