THE FEMALE OFFERING
We are offering a smaller number of females in this sale as we continue to
expand our numbers. Of course with that in mind, we also wanted to present
some our best. We are leading off with our 541X6 Jethro daughter out of Real
Deal’s dam. We have some fall three in ones with some nice calves at side and bred back to some of the top herd sires in the country.
We also are featuring some cattle from our friends Bob Schaffer in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and from Rock Hill Brangus in Georgia.
Our goal is to take an opportunity in this fall sale to showcase some of our very best genetics both in the bull offering and in this elite set
of females.
TheBulls
We think you will find our best set of bulls to date in this offering. We are featuring full possession and 1/2 semen interest in Yosemite,
one of the special and proven Jethro sons in the breed. We will also offer you more good bulls one after the other, than ever before.
The bulls are sound and sure footed and used to traveling the hills here in Tennessee. As always, we continue to select and breed
for pounds on the ground and we feel we have a cow herd base second to none when it comes to true performance and objectively
measured growth traits. Based on the Expected Progeny Differences of the females behind these bulls, we think you will agree with our
assessment.
We are also proud of the way these bulls have been developed. Following their yearling gain test, where we feed them to gain around
3 lbs per day, these bulls were all kicked out on grass with minimal supplementation. We have brought them along in our big grass
pastures on an even nutritional plane. We are confident you will appreciate not only the genetics in these bulls when you get them
home, but also the way we have handled them to increase their longevity and useful life to you. These are not the pampered bulls you
see at many bull sales with too much weight on developing skeletal muscles. If you like them, we will continue to develop them with
their longevity in mind for you.
