WELCOME
On May 18th our family’s lives changed forever. I
had just gotten back earlier in the week from the
Good Girls Sale with transit cattle on Monday. I
dropped my daughter Ava onWednesday night
at Marshall and Patricia’s house so Patricia could
take Ava to the zoo with her classmates for a
field day. They had a great day at the zoo and
I met mom and Ava at the mall in Des Moines
to bring Ava back home. Ava and I had a good
time talking about the fun she had with Gramma
that day. As I was pulling into our driveway
at home I received a call fromMarshall saying
that Patricia was in a terrible accident and that
momwas taking by ambulance to Des Moines
with life threatening injuries. I called Nicole she
rushed home fromwork and helped me gather
my things so I could head to Des Moines. When
I arrived at the hospital mom had a team of
doctors in the room and they told me to wait to
see her. Later that night they had stabilized her
and I was allowed to see her in the ER. I spent
the first 24 hours with her and every night for a
week in the ICU and I had to force Marshall to
leave so he could sleep a little and eat. Momwas
in the hospital for over a month before coming
home. Marshall has been a trooper taking care
of mom. Cooking meals, helping her to doctors’
appointments and physical therapy. Marshall
really stepped up to the plate and our whole
family is grateful for everything he has done to
help mom in her recovery. Mom is still actively
working with physical therapy several days a
week trying her best to get closer to where she
was before her accident. She will be making her
first public appearance on sale day this year and
is looking forward to seeing our friends from
around the country. We must thank everyone
who has supported Marshall and Patricia this
year. I must also thank all our friends and sales
staff who have went above and beyond helping
me maintain the quality service you have come
to expect from Ruble Cattle Services. Because of
this life altering event we are personally selling
more feature lots in the sale. We would really
appreciate every amount of support we can get
on this year’s sale both on live lots and frozen
genetics both for us and the other consignors.
Ruble Cattle Services and the Money Makin’
Mommas consignors have a great set of breed
leading genetics and live lots in this year’s sale.
We are offering good cattle from different breeds
that have the potential to be true Money Makin’
Mommas. We are also offering elite frozen
genetics out of awesome donor cows and limited
access bulls. This year we have a great selection
Red Angus cattle to in the sale. We’ve enjoyed
managing the Red Angus Classic Sale at the
Iowa Beef Expo and we are looking to represent
more Red Angus cattle in existing sales and new
sales. We have the best set of cattle selling in the
history of the MMM sale. With this sale we get to
offer good cattle in many categories to full fill the
needs of our diverse customer base. The Hansen
Center provides a weather proof facility with
tons of room and the most comfortable viewing
of cattle in the state of Iowa. It was a no brainer
to utilize such a nice facility and support Iowa
State University. Please contact Marshall and I
at any time to discuss the sale lots. We also have
a great set of accommodating consultants and
sales staff that would love to help you in anyway.
The sale will be available to be viewed on DV
Auctions. However, you feel most comfortable
bidding we will accommodate you. Our approach
to Sale Management is based on everyone
working as a team and representing each lot in
a fair and accurate manor. Thank you for your
interest and support.
Sincerely,
Jeremie Ruble

As you’ve read my sale letter you can tell we’ve experienced some
personal hardships this year with mom’s accident. We’ve endured many
other challenges this year as well. One person who has really helped
me pick up the slack when I was helping mom & dad or giving extra
support to our business is my wife Nicole Ruble. She is always there to
support our family and our business. When I’m gone from home she
is the one taking care of all the animals and kids. I wouldn’t be able to
run the road as hard as I do without all the extra things she does for me.
Nicole works as a Physician Assistant at the Wayne County Hospital as
a primary health care provider with a pretty full schedule. Her job has
enabled me to focus on growing our business and cow herd. We started
our journey together many years ago but in the past five years we
purchased a house and a farm I started my own business from scratch
and we’ve had two beautiful children. I know not many people’s spouses
would have as much faith in their partner or offer the kind of help I’ve
received from her. Nicole is special to me for a lot of reasons. I’ve
included some extra pictures in this year’s catalog of my family. Through
thick and thin we are together supporting each other. This sale couldn’t
happen without the support of Nicole and our families. I’m lucky to have
them all in my life. If you see Nicole helping me at a sale, please tell her
howmuch we all appreciate everything she allows me to do.
