Bids:
Can be done at the auction by yourself, or via the internet at
DVAuctions.com or by contacting Kent Abele, (417-448-7416 or
) prior to the sale. Let Kent know what bulls you are
interested in biddiing on and someone will call you when the bull enters the
sale ring. You can bid live via the phone or just give Kent your desired
purchase price and he will make every effort to purchase the bulls of your
choice at your designated price or less.
Breeder Guarantee:
All bulls over one year have been semen tested
and will be sold as satisfactory potential breeders. The bulls under one
year of age may not be semen tested. All bulls will be sold as guaranteed
breeders under the standard guarantee established by their respective
breed associations. All guarantees are to be negotiated and carried out
between the owner/seller and the buyer. Neither Green Springs Bull Test
Station, nor it’s owners, or employees guarantee the bulls in any way.
Bull Development Program:
If you need to leave your bulls with
Green Springs Bull Test until breeding season because you don’t have a
place for them right now or you need time to sell older bulls, or if you
simply would like to continue developing your bulls we will be glad to keep
them for as long as you like. We will keep them on a good growing ration
and/or grass until you come to get them. The cost for this service is $2.75
per head per day from sale day forward. We want you to have the best
bulls possible, we want them to be in the best condition possible, and we
want you to have them when you need them.
Bull Delivery:
Free delivery if your destination is within 50 miles of
Green Springs Bull Test. We will be glad to arrange delivery to more
distant locations at the most reasonable rates possible.
Health Certificates:
A licensed Missouri Veterinarian will be at the
settlement desk to issue the required interstate or intrastate health
certificates. Buyers who wish to take cattle into states with specific and
rigid health regulations should inquire about the health tests required by
their state. All bulls sold are virgin bulls and/or have been tested for
trichominosis according to current Missouri animal health rules. All bulls
also have tested negative for persistent BVD.
Release of Sale Cattle:
All sale cattle will be released upon the buy-
er’s settlement with the sale clerks.
Risk:
Each animal becomes the risk of the purchased as soon as sold.
It is the obligation of the purchaser to see that trucking of the animal and
care for the animal is arranged before leaving the sale site. Mortality
insurnace is available in the sales office & can be purchased at time of
settlement as well as first season breeding season insurance. Both are op-
tional at buyers expense.
Sale Order:
Sale begins at 1:00 and bulls will sell in Lot#/catalog order,
sequentially until complete, beginning with Lot #1.
Terms:
Cash/check/or credit card for settlement. If using a credit card a
2% convience fee may be charged.
Registration Certificates
:Will be issued in the owners name. Let the
settlement clerks know exactly what name you want to appear on the
certificate and what address it should be mailed to. Follow up with the con-
signor that you purchased the bull from if you have questions.
Consignors name & contact information is listed in the front of the sale
catalog. Certificate information should appear just as presented in the sale
catalog but the possibility exists through genetic testing that differences
may occur. Any discrepancies are between the breeder/consignor and the
buyer.
