EnvironmentalHazards
Not foruse incattlemanaged in feedlotsorunder intensiverotationalgrazing
becausetheenvironmental impacthasnotbeenevaluated forthesescenarios.
OtherWarnings:
Underdosingand/orsubtherapeuticconcentrationsofextended-
releaseanthelminticproductsmayencouragethedevelopmentofparasite
resistance. It isrecommendedthatparasiteresistancebemonitored followingthe
useofanyanthelminticwiththeuseofa fecaleggcountreductiontestprogram.
TARGETANIMALSAFETY
Clinicalstudieshavedemonstratedthewidemarginofsafetyof
LONGRANGE®(eprinomectin).Overdosingat3to5timestherecommended
doseresulted inastatisticallysigni cantreduction inaverageweightgainwhen
comparedtothegrouptestedat labeldose.Treatment-related lesionsobserved
inmostcattleadministeredtheproduct includedswelling,hyperemia,ornecrosis
inthesubcutaneoustissueoftheskin.TheadministrationofLONGRANGEat
3timestherecommendedtherapeuticdosehadnoadversereproductivee ects
onbeefcowsatallstagesofbreedingorpregnancyorontheircalves.
Not foruse inbulls,asreproductivesafetytestinghasnotbeenconducted in
males intended forbreedingoractivelybreeding.Not foruse incalves lessthan
3monthsofagebecausesafetytestinghasnotbeenconducted incalves less
than3monthsofage.
