Welcome
Dear Brangus Friends,
We just went through the most challenging
time in my cattle career with the floods from
Hurricane Harvey. We thank God our home and
most of my families’ homes survived, and did
not flood. Thousands of homes in our area and
lots of livestock were lost. We will not know
the number for a while. Thank God also for the
unbelievable out pouring of help we have received from all over the nation
bringing in feed, supplies, clothing and water. It has been incredible!! Our
Nome, Texas Brangus herd was saved by our incredible crew; Jerry Thornton,
Matt Willey, Victor Catalanotto, Darby Doguet and all of the rest that helped
move the herd to higher and higher ground for two days in a row.
I want to personally thank all the individuals, cowboy churches, and trucking
companies that hauled in hay for the Nome area livestock within days of the
storm. Its proof we live in the best country in the world; with the best people.
So come on out to the sale! “we have survived”.
Sincerely,
Mike Doguet
