It is with great pride and pleasure we invite you to join the ABHA and its members at the 7th Annual National Sale. In
addition to the sale, we will host our National Show. American Black Hereford Breeders from across the nation have worked
diligently to prepare their livestock for this exciting event.
The improvement and advancement of Black Hereford genetics over the past few years has been nothing short of
remarkable. The industry acceptance of the breed has been overwhelming. Cattlemen throughout the country and the world
are benefiting from superior Black Hereford genetics and the marketing opportunities these cattle offer.
Our breed is experiencing tremendous growth and more breeders are joining the association daily. The American Black
Hereford Association is a data driven organization and we continue to enhance and advance the data available on Black
Hereford cattle. I invite you to join us on Nov. 10th for our national show and on Nov. the 11th for our National Sale.
It will be an event that will provide you with information about the American Black Hereford as well as a tremendous lineup

State to State Transport
Our veterinarian will issue health papers for the release of the cattle to your
state provided they meet your state requirements. All cattle should meet most
state requirements. It is the buyer’s responsibility to understand their state
requirements that may have special guidelines for receiving cattle. Buyers
purchase cattle for transport at their own risk.
Absentee Bidding
Buyers unable to attend the sale or who do not wish to bid by Internet can
make bids and purchases by phone with one of our phone sales staff. You first
must set up a bidder number through our clerk or one of our phone sales
staff. You can be assured that our staff will help direct you and answer your
questions informatively and with integrity in order for you to get the cattle you
want. Our same guarantee and terms of the sale apply.
Livestock Insurance
Insurance will be available sale day.
Terms and Conditions
1. All sale cattle are registered in the ABHA. All purchases include registration
papers and transfers.
2. All open heifers have been weaned and vaccinated at least 45 days prior to
the sale.
3. All bred heifers have been pregnancy checked at home by the seller and
are vet verified bred.
4. All representations and guarantees are those made by the seller and not
the responsibility of the ABHA.
5. Payment is due at the time of purchase. Checks should be made to the
American Black Hereford Association.
6. Please no loading out until after the sale. Clerks will provide load out
papers after settlement.
Guarantee
All guarantees, both written or expressed, is the responsibility of the individual
consignor. All cattle are guaranteed to be as stated by the consignor. American
Black Hereford Association, does not express or represent any warranty on any
cattle. All cattle are the responsibility of the buyer when the auctioneer says,
“SOLD”. Every effort will be made to ensure safe handling of the sale cattle
through the sale and load-out process.
Liability
All persons attending the sale do so at their own risk. Neither ABHA, the
consignors, or the sales staff assume any liability legal or otherwise, for accidents
that may occur.
Announcements
A supplement sheet will be available sale day with any up-to-date information and
corrections. This sheet and any announcements made from the auction block will
take precedence over statements in this catalog. We reserve the right to remove
any sale lot not meeting the sale specifications prior to the sale.
