The bulls highlighted on the following pages were bred and born in the Yon program and are currently being used for natural service at YFF, with the
exception of Yon Future Focus T219, who is used AI. To make sure we are producing bulls that will get it done, we believe it is important to use bulls
developed here and make sure that their calves can compete in groups of calves sired by respected AI sires. Many of the bulls and females selling in
the sale are “Yon sired” and as you study the sale book, it will be obvious that they can certainly stack up with the AI sires represented. Several of the
female lots offered are bred to Yon bulls and we are excited about the potential that we are offering.

• Owned with B J R Summerford and ABS Global.
• We are extremely pleased with this bull, his progeny, and his daughters in
production. As of September 7, 2012 when doing a data search of bulls in the
main sire listing of the Angus breed, using Future Focus’s EPDs for CE, BW,
WW, YW, SC, $F and $B values to see how many bulls had the total package
of numbers he offers, I discovered that he is the ONLY one. Now if you take
out the SC EPD there were three total bulls with numbers like his, but we
believe that SC is a good indicator of fertility in both bulls and females, so that

is important to us. Selling as Lot 1 in our 2008 sale, this $13,000 high seller,
selected by BJR Summerford in Alabama, soon after the sale made his way to
ABS Global to join their bull stud. Future Focus has seen heavy AI use in our
herd and we are confident in his pedigree, his EPDs and performance. What a
tremendous set of EPDs he has, ranking in the top 2% or higher for all current
sires for Weaning, Yearling, and Scrotal EPDs, and in the top 4% or higher for
$F and $B, all while holding at 2.5 for Birth Weight EPD with a +9 for CED. His
dam has progeny ratios of 111 for weaning on four calves, 112 for yearling, 108
for %IMF and 112 for ribeye. Future Focus now has 411 progeny with weaning
data (from 29 herds) that have an average weaning ratio of 102. His 153 calves
with yearling data have an average ratio of 102 for yearling weight and the 135
with scan data, earned an average ratio of 102 for %IMF and 101 for ribeye.
Twenty-eight daughters in eight herds have 32 calves with an average weaning
ratio of 103. In the 2011 Fall Angus Sire Alliance, Future Focus ranked #6 among
active bulls for total profit (top 3%). He is also in the top 10% for Efficiency
Index. Not only does he have the numbers to attract attention, but his phenotype
is fabulous, and the offspring have a “look” that makes you want more of them.
We are offering several females sired by him or bred to him in this sale as well
as several bulls sired by him.
