Dear Fellow Cattlemen,
For years the Wilde family has
offered high quality, functional An-
gus and Charolais cattle that will
add value to your cow herd, as well
as working Quarter Horses from
some of the top bloodlines. This
year carries on the tradition and
marks the 18
th
Annual Wilde Angus Ranch and Aufforth Charolais Bull
and Female Sale.
One of the biggest assets is the cow herd that this sale offering
comes from. The sale offering represents a blending of many of the
proven, top cow families in the Angus breed that have been stacked
with production, performance and maternal excellence. There is no
room for non performers. All of these dams have earned their spot in
the pasture. They either thrive and excel or are culled. This ensures
breeding longevity and high profit producers in every lot. The breed-
ing program is designed to produce a high volume of Angus bulls that
fit into commercial programs. Wilde’s understand that these programs
demand breeding stock that is professionally developed to insure
breeding longevity to maximize low cost/ high profit producers.
Wilde’s put a major emphasis on the equal treatment of large con-
temporary groups to make accurate evaluations and decisions. Effi-
ciency is one trait that is still front of mind due to the ever increasing
price of inputs. I believe that commercial breeders will be pleased with
the performance exhibited in this offering. Carcass traits, maternal
strength and temperament are not neglected by these detailed ranch-
ers. The bottom line is that there is something for everyone available
on sale day.
We look forward to seeing you on sale day at the ranch. If you have
any questions, please feel free to contact some-
one at Conover Auction Service or the family. The
Wilde’s are high quality, reputation ranchers who
enjoy talking cattle and horses with you.
Sincerely,
Al Conover, Conover Auction Service
