What a difference a year makes. Looking back at the 2011 drought, many of us had to become really creative thinkers to
survive the lack of water and feed. But, we are survivors and much smarter for it. Ranching and the cattle business is not
for the faint of heart.
We at W4 Ranch invite you to our annual production sale. We have put together a set of bulls that will work in any pro-
gram. These bulls are big and stout and have the kind of thickness needed to produce the pounds we are all looking for to
help our bottom line. These bulls have endured some difficult conditions this year and have held remarkably well. Also, like
all of the rest of our bulls, these have been developed in our bull development center as described in this year’s catalog. You
will find the bulls very adaptable of any kind of new location. They have been fertility tes ted by Dr. Mark Jackson and he
determined the bulls sound and ready to go to work.
The beauty of the cattle industry is that whether you have a small or large registered or commercial herd, W4 Herefords
can definitely improve your operation . If there is anything we can do to help you, please let us know. We encourage you to
visit the ranch and view the sale offerings prior the sale, or tune in with us on DV Auctions. They will broadcast on internet
on sale day. Do not forget our barbecue lunch beginning at 11 a.m. We are eager to see and talk to all of you at the sale on
