Cattlemen:
This year is our families 61st Annual Angus Bull Sale and we
couldn’t be more excited about the optimism in the cattle business.
With another year of record prices it is more important then ever to use
superior quality genetics.
In terms of performance, carcass quality,
calving ease and maternal ability, we feel these bulls will meet that
demand. The yearling bulls are our older bulls (mostly January), so
they will be more mature at breeding time and able to service more
cows. As always, our younger bulls are our two year olds and never
offered for sale. They are big stout, sound bulls that were raised on
summer pasture to promote proper development. With that in mind,
one must remember the two year olds are developed a bit more slowly
and the comparison of raw data between the yearlings and the two’s
would not be an accurate indicator. This is why all comparison must
be made within each contemporary group. All bulls will be in ideal
breeding condition. We are again offering an excellent group of
registered open yearling heifers with outstanding performance and
pedigree. You are welcome to stop at the ranch and look over the bulls
anytime. Come join us the evening of the 15th to preview the bulls and
have a beef meal and refreshments with us.
