Buf Crk Ellunas W052 (1329309)—This is a Category II ET female out of Cherokee Canyon
acquired in the Buffalo Creek Dispersal Auction. Her Angus dam stacks GDAR Rainmaker
340 and Traveler 124 GDAR and was a top cow in the Sitz Angus herd before being
purchased by Buffalo Creek. This young cow is moderate in size. Her red heifer calf from
last year is in the keeper pen.

Ellunas W052 is a young cow with a terrific future. Her EPDs rank her in the top 9% of the
breed for HPG and top 11% for REA. Her Mulberry bull calf selling at side could easily make
a seedstock herd bull or come back to the More Mulberry Mayhem Sale next year! The

A very moderate sized Cherokee Canyon daughter acquired in the Buffalo Creek Dispersal.
She is from the Anasco cow line with Lancer F442 and Romeo L081 in her pedigree. A very
good bull calf out of The Right Kind U199 will sell in the spring.

Many of us have felt the drought of 2012 but for two years, the Rhodes and folks across
Kansas have been pulmeted with extreme high temperatures and very, very little rainfall.
