Heifer Program Requirements
To qualify as a service sire for heifers in SydGen Influ-
ence Sales, the sire must be +3.0 or lower BW EPD and
+6 or higher for CED EPD, and must carry the SydGen
prefix in his name. To qualify as a natural service sire
for heifers in Show-Me Select Heifer Sales, the sire
must be +7 or higher for CED if he is an Angus.
Actual Scan Data
Actual scan data on all fall yearling bulls and heifers will be
included with your update sheets on sale day. This actual
data has already been incorporated into each animal’s
Carcass EPDs printed here, and we believe these EPDs are
a better indicator of the animal’s carcass genetics than one
ultrasound reading.
