we purchased this bull’s dam from Double AA Ranch, Shelbyville, MO, to get a
preview of the daughters, and she is a deep-ribbed cow with excellent teat and
udder structure.

sale, and he went on to post an ADG of over four pounds per day, and scanned

We have sold many of our bulls as calves in past years, and
are doing so again this year. Though they are not old enough to
semen test by sale day, they are Guaranteed Breeders. Many
cattlemen prefer buying calves and raising them at home to get
them acclimated and to have the bull developed and ready to
go out at breeding season. For those of you who do not have
the facilities to raise the bulls, or just prefer not to do it, we
offer an option for people buying bulls in this sale. For a flat fee
of $300, you may leave the bull here and we will raise him in
our normal manner, and you may pick him up any time during
the month of April 2013. The bulls wintered at Sydenstricker
Genetics will have yearling weights taken, be ultrasounded for
body composition, and have a breeding soundness evaluation.
Buyer does own the bull as of sale day, and assumes all risk of
injury or death. We would suggest buyers purchase insurance
on these bull calves. Bulls will be raised on a ration of grass
hay, corn silage, oats and corn. They will be well grown out and
hard, not over-conditioned.
