The Bohl consignment features 80 Open Angus Heifer Calves sired by some of the top-selling bulls in past Mc Cumber
bull sales. Joe went deep into his replacements with this outstanding consignment. This broody, feminine fronted, long
bodied set of heifers are backed by a highly maternal cow herd. The cow herd is a straight Angus cow herd that is influ-
enced for several generations by Mc Cumber Angus Ranch genetics. Joe and Gerald have always bought the very best
bulls and have bred one of the top cow herds in the country. This high performance cowherd is responsible for producing
some of the top selling feeder cattle year in and year out. The heifers are sired by 3 top selling sons of Mc Cumber 4X13
Extra 829. One of which was the high selling bull of the 2011 Mc Cumber bull sale, and all which were members of the
high selling sire group. Other sires include sons of 004, Mc Cumber 004 Traveler 6120, Sitz JLS Emulation EXT 536P,
and 3 different sons of Sinclair Extra 4x13. The 4x13 sons are all out of top Pathfinder cows at Mc Cumber and were 3 of
the high selling bulls through Mc Cumber’s 2010 Bull sale. All the females are on the Select Vac program and are Bangs
Vaccinated. These February- March born heifers calves were vaccinated with Bovishield Gold 5, Ultrabac 7 Somubac,
One Shot, poured with Dectomax and weaned the first of October. The heifers are PG’d open by a vet and are ready to go.
The heifers are the kind to build a herd around.
