Terms:
The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision
on such matters shall be final. Terms of sale are cash unless satisfactory credit
arrangements have been made with sale management prior to the sale. Each
animal becomes the risk of the buyer as soon as sold.
Registration:
It is the buyer’s responsibility to provide the seller with the correct name and
address for transfer of animal.
Guarantee:
The cattle will sell in accordance with the recommendations and conditions
of the American Hereford Association and are guaranteed free of all known
genetic defects recognized by the AHA as of November 10, 2012.
Health:
Proper health papers will be available.
AI Certificates:
Any female that is mated to an AI sire not owned by the sellers will not have
an AI certificate provided.
Liability:
All persons attending this sale and related functions do so at their own risk.
Gonzales Ranch and the sellers assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for
any accident that may occur.
Insurance:
Insurance will be available through American Livestock Insurance, Agent
Pete Miller.
Bids:
If you would like to place a bid on any lot but will not be able to be with us,
we would be happy to handle mail or phone in bids for you. Please contact
one of the owners or sale staff for assistance. You can also follow the auction
live via the Internet on DV Auctions.
Transportation:
We will deliver all cattle for buyers who need trucking. Cattle will only be
delivered to central points in the United States. If you need trucking, the
cost will not exceed $325, pre-paid at the settlement of your cattle.
Partnership Animals:
There will be no daily maintenance fee for partnership animals kept at our
facilities. All embryos and expenses for flushes will be split between the
owner and all natural calves will be owned by Plum River Ranch and Lamb
Bros. respectively unless other prior arrangements are made.
