Terms and CondiTions of sale
1.
Terms Cash, Check and Credit Card. Each animal to be sold to the highest bidder. The auctioneer
shall settle any dispute as to bids. Reserve bids accepted from consignor, if any, will be announced.
2.
Announcements concerning cattle made at the sale ring by owners or auctioneer will take prece-
dence over statements in the sale catalog.
3.
Risk. All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk and neither sale organizers nor the
Fryeburg Fairgrounds shall assume liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents which may occur.
4.
Tom Carper, auctioneer, acts as agent for the sellers.
5.
Health certificates will be available for cattle to be shipped interstate.
6.
Registration certificates will be transferred to buyers at sellers’ expense. Each buyer must give the
clerk his proper name and address for making transfers.
7.
Delivery. Sale organizers will make every attempt to assist buyers in locating transport at the lowest
possible cost.
8.
Bidding. If you are unable to attend the sale in person you may contact the sale management to
make arrangements for absentee bidding. You may also bid on-line this year as the auction will be
broadcast live over the internet by DVAuctions (
).
