Welcome to the, Lee McKellar Total Angus Dispersal. Many of you are aware of Dr. Lee McKellar’s
recent health challenges. In the last year he has suffered 2 strokes and various other health issues
requiring lengthy hospitalizations. While his health and quality of life have lessened, his passion for
purebred cattle has not diminished.
This sale is not a dispersal of McKellar Angus. It is a dispersion of only cattle owned and managed
by Lee McKellar, personally. This offering features 7 top donor females, 38 bred Angus females, 50
commercial recips, many with ET pregnancies, 35 Registered ET heifer calves and 25 Registered ET
bull calves. These cattle have not been picked through or been offered for sale individually before this
sale.
Many calves listed in this book were unregistered at the time of printing due to the time
constraints of parental DNA testing required for Embryo Transfer calf registrations. Most, if not
all, will be registered by sale day and supplemental registration data will be available.
If unable to attend, absentee Internet bidding will be handled by DV Auction (see next page). If
you prefer not to, or are unable to bid over the internet, we will be glad to register you for a buyer’s
number. Bids may be left with Morris, Mark or Joseph, or any of the listed ring side help.
However,
phone bidding will be unavailable on sale day.
Morris, Mark & Joseph McKellar will continue on with McKellar Angus, and will host the
10th Annual Production Sale on March 27, 2014. This sale will still feature 90 top end breeding
bulls and 50 select bred heifers. McKellar Angus will continue business as usual and continue to
be your source for performance oriented Angus cattle.
Due to the nature of this sale, no free delivery or trucking will be available, the buyer is solely
responsible for their purchase(s). The cattle sell as is and are sound as of sale time, and their breeding
status is verified by veterinarian. That being said, should there be an issue with any animal at a later
date, no credit or refund will be offered from McKellar Angus for use in future sales.

Follow US 271 S 50 miles to Mt. Pleasant. 271 S will intersect
Hwy 67, 1/2 mile south of I-30 at a red light. Turn left and follow Hwy 67 2
miles. Sale pavilion is on the right.

Follow US 271 N 70 miles to Mt. Pleasant. Continue north
through town to the intersection of Hwy 67. Turn right and follow Hwy 67
