It is a sincere pleasure to be working with Tucker and Vickie Link, their family, and the entire KiamichiLink Ranch staff on this exciting
sale. Over 250 head will be selling in this power-packed offering that will include prominent KLR donors and their progeny along with
a tremendous set of females produced in the KLR ET program. Also included will be spring calving cow/calf pairs and spring bred
cows along with a phenomenal set of fall calving two-year-old females.
The KiamichiLink Ranch program is based on breed-impacting genetics. Tucker Link is committed to identifying the genetics within the
Angus breed that will excel the breed forward by increasing the end product merit in all of the genetics produced in the KLR program.
Many of the females offer the genetic capabilities combined with their individual ultrasound and genomic information to rank near the
very top of the breed for many economically important traits. Many of the breed’s most prominent cow families are well represented
throughout this offering including the Ritas, Blackcaps, Lucys, Ladys, and many more who have had a positive contribution on the
Angus breed. Descendants of the Elba, Abigale, Anita, and Forever Ladys are also well represented.
Elite genetics are represented throughout the entire sale book. An opportunity to select the first progeny of the $170,000 Boyd
Signature 1014 will be made available through two confirmed heifer calf pregnancies produced from the lead-off female of the 2012
Gardiner Angus Ranch Sale and from the dam of ALC Big Eye D09N. There will also be breed-leading genetics offered, sired by many
of the well-known AI sires represented in the KLR herd sire battery. KiamichiLink Ranch has always been committed to selecting herd
sires throughout the country that fit the criteria of their elite donor lineup - they offer the EPD profile combined with individual perfor-
mance and kind to also make an impact on the breed. The service of many KLR Herd Sires will sell throughout.
This year’s sale will be highlighted with a large number of productive females and every female selling in the
sale has been confirmed safe in calf AI or are marked to sell as pairs ready to breed this fall. There has been
no use of natural herd sires in the KLR program this past breeding season in order to provide you, their valued
customers, added value in making your genetics purchases. I feel confident as you study this offering you will find
females that will work in any program and will ultimately add value to your bottom line.
Plan now to be on hand for this exciting event Sunday, October 7, 2012 in beautiful Southeastern Oklahoma.
For those attending the 2012 National Angus Conference and Tour in nearby Kansas, I hope that you will make
the trip and see firsthand how the KLR program can work for you.
Sincerely,
Rance Long
