38th Annual Production Sale 2-25-13
Dear Cattlemen,
What a pleasure it has been to again work with the Hart family this year in presenting
to you the truly top quality and deep set of bulls that will be offered for sale in their 2013
production sale. As always, they have strived to bring to you a superior Angus bull on the
cutting edge of economically viable traits that determine profitability.
The Hart’s have continued to utilize a first class set of herd bulls, to evaluate these
sale features in large contemporary groups and make decisions with the bottom line of their
commercial bull customer in mind. This is all very evident in viewing the selection this program
has put together. An outstanding set of bulls with eye appeal and performance well suited
for heifer matings as well as generating profit for you in the feedlot. These bulls have been
evaluated using all the technology available to Brad and Shawn.
The opportunities will abound for a high quality herd bull prospect to be selected in all price ranges for the commercial
cattleman and purebred breeder alike. These bulls will stand the test of time, are fertile, structurally sound, easy fleshing and excel
in production traits. 72% of the sale offering are recommended for use on heifers.
Please take the time to look through this sale offering
and if you have any questions feel free to get in touch
with the Hart’s or someone at this office who will be
happy to assist you. We look forward to seeing you on
sale day for the 38th Annual Production Sale at the
farm near Frederick.
Sincerely,

We at Hart Angus Farms would like to welcome everyone to our
38th Annual Production Sale. We hope all of our fellow cattlemen,
cattlewomen, and friends have had a very healthy and prosperous
past year.
We have experienced some exciting changes since our last sale.
We welcomed our son, Alex, back to the farm, along with his new
wife, Tanae’. Our daughter, Kelli, also continues to help out at the
farm. Another exciting change is that we are working on a new sale
facility, which is located one mile south of the old sale barn. We hope to have it functional on sale day.
However, some things never change. Our sale date is still the last Monday in February. We still have the
same commitment to breeding functional cattle that calve easy, perform well in everyday conditions, are
structurally correct, fertile, and have a great disposition without giving up carcass traits. We truly feel
this is our best offering yet, and to reflect that we have increased the number of bulls to be sold at Hart
Angus Farms. The bulls in this year’s sale are from the top 50% of
our bull calf crop. We will also again be broadcasting our sale on
DVAuction.
As always, we would like to thank our repeat customers. We
value your opinion, and welcome any input to help make our
program better for you. We sincerely enjoy the long lasting
friendships that we have developed over the years, and hope to
make many more. We invite you to stop by anytime to view the
cattle, or call with any questions. We look forward to seeing
you on the 25th!
Sincerely,
Brad, Shawn & family
Kelli, Tanae’, Alex, Shawn and Brad
