Bidding
Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder without reserve.
The auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids, and his
decision on such matters shall be final.
Terms
Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold,
but it shall be the obligation of the seller to see that animals
are fed and cared for until loaded for shipment or until the
expiration of 48 hours after the sale, whichever occurs sooner.
After 48 hours a maintenance fee of $3.50 per day will be
assessed until pickup unless Genetrust, Cavender or AMS
personnel arrange shipment.
Sight Unseen purchases
Buyers may purchase cattle from Genetrust, Cavender
or American Marketing Service personnel at auction without
viewing the cattle. You pay only the bid price, just as if you were
bidding in person.
Certificate of registry
A transferred certificate of registry will be furnished to the
purchaser for each registered animal once proper settlement has
been made.
Health
Health papers suitable for interstate shipment will be furnished
on all animals.
Announcements
Any changes from the information of any kind in this catalog
will be provided in a sale day supplement sheet or announced
from the auction block and such information shall take
precedence over cataloged information.
Breeding Guarantee
This sale constitutes a complete and total herd liquidation of the
mature cows of the Genetrust participants, unless otherwise
noted. All of the breeding information represents our best
estimate of the current breeding status. All pregnancy exams were
performed by a licensed veterinarian. There can be embryonic
death loss, missed palpations, or other complications and you
should be aware of these. The breeding information is stated
to the best of our ability; however, all cattle sales of the mature
cows of the Genetrust participants are AS IS with no further
guarantees.
Payment
Payment is due immediately upon purchase. Acceptable forms of
payment are cash, check with a letter of credit, and money order.
Any and all buyers must have a buyer’s number in order to bid.
Purchase of Semen and Embryos
A buyer’s ownership in any semen and/or embryo that it/he/
she purchases begin at the conclusion of the auction. All costs
associated with storage, shipping, and handling of any semen
and/or embryo incurred after the conclusion of the sale is the
responsibility of the buyer as the owner. The semen and embryos
are stored at Integrated Breeders Service located inWheelock, TX

Rights andObligations
1. The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a
contract between the buyer and seller of each animal and shall
be equally binding on both. Genetrust and AMS make no
warranty or representation, and hereby disclaim any warranty or
representation, express or implied, or arising by operation of law,
regarding the condition, or fitness for a particular purpose of any
mature cowherd dispersal cattle, and each buyer agrees to buy
such property “AS IS” and with all faults.
2. Neither Genetrust or American Marketing Service nor any
other person connected with the management of the sale, assumes
any liability, legal or otherwise.
