beyond and the 2012 edition of Cottonwood Angus Farms “Profit Maker’s Sale.” There
are a number of different ways that your herd can put you into the “profit maker”
category and certainly not the least of which is through the CAB program and having a
value added product. This program has taken the initiative to use multiple trait selection
and DNA tenderness testing to evaluate their gene pool and make breeding decisions
based on this. Gregg and his crew have been able to do this while infusing some superior
AI sires and keeping the phenotype of these individuals outstanding.
This herd specializes in breeding correct, easy-fleshing, high volume cattle that are functional and can perform. This
offering has an abundance of examples that have the genetic potential to make a positive impact on the end product in

science behind the genetics to guide their selection decisions.
