The Fonner Park fairgrounds are located at 700 E Stolley Park Road. Take Hwy 281 to the junction of Stolley Park Road
toward south end of Grand Island and turn east, or take Hwy 34 to junction of Locust Avenue and go north to junction of
Stolley Park Road then east. Fonner Park is on the north side of Stolley Park Road. The Hereford Women of Nebraska will
have lunch available at the sale site.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
The terms of the sale are cash. Each lot will sell to the highest bidder as determined by the auctioneer. All
statements made from the auction block take precedence over what is printed in the catalog. All cattle shall be settled for the day of the sale.
Purchases made by telephone or on order shall be expected to electronically transfer payment on Monday, November 19, 2012. All cattle become
the property and responsibility of the buyer as soon as they are sold. Mail or phone bids will be handled to the best interest of the buyer. Bids
may be submitted to any of the sale staff.
HEALTH:
All cattle are preconditioned and weaned and test negative for BVD. The heifers are officially bangs vaccinated. The health of the
cattle is excellent. All cattle leaving Nebraska will be furnished with the necessary health papers. A veterinarian will be on sight sale day.
REGISTRATION AND TRANSFER:
All heifers will have the registration papers transferred to the new owners by sale management. All
steers will be sold with a steer certificate from the American Hereford Association. When making settlement, buyers must give complete written
name and address information for making transfer.
LIABILITY:
All persons attending this sale do so at their own risk. All reasonable precautions have been made but neither the owners or sale
management assumes any responsibility for accidents.
NEBRASKA HEREFORD FUTURITY:
All animals sold to Junior Hereford youth are eligible for the Nebraska Hereford Futurity Show,
which will be held June 1, 2013, in Broken Bow, NE in conjunction with the Nebraska Junior Hereford Show. The consignors to this sale have
made their cattle eligible by donating $50 per lot to the Nebraska Hereford Futurity. Heifers selling in the 2013 Cattlemen’s Classic Hereford
and Polled Hereford sales will also be eligible. Only cattle sold in these sales are eligible for the Futurity. Any buyer who is at least 6 years old
and under 22, and a member of the Nebraska Junior Hereford Association is eligible to show in the Futurity. Youth may join the NJHA the day
of the sale. When settling for purchases the day of the sale, youth will be asked if they wish to take part in the Futurity. If yes, they must pay a
$25.00 show entry fee at the time of the purchase. If no, the animal is no longer eligible for the Futurity. Prize money will be paid to all animals
coming back to take part in the show.
The Champion Heifer and Champion Steer will each receive $1,000.00. The Reserve Champion
Heifer and Reserve Champion Steer will each receive $600.00.
A minimum of $50 will be paid to Class winners. Champions and Reserve
Champions will not receive class money. Polled and horned cattle will show together. Heifer classes will be divided by age and steer classes by
weight.
