2008 Blue Roan
Raider has the whole package. He's
40% Blue Valentine and goes back
9 times. He's quiet and so gentle
that we used him as a babysitter
when we weaned our colts. He is
athletic and we've started roping
on him. He's a perfect cross to
perpetuate the Blue Valentine blood
and complement the Driftwoods.

This is our replacement for Valentine
Drift who we lost in 2010. Plenty of
Blue Valentine and a shot of My
Drifty Pride. That puts more cow
and athleticism in them, like the
kind of horses that Nick Rowland
and Mickey Gee are using. He’s
low-hocked and very athletic for a
big horse. Great mind. Real gentle.
