The ProRodeo Hall of Fame and Museum of the American Cowboy is extremely
appreciative of everyone involved in the production of the Benny Binion Bucking Horse
and Bull Sale. This event originated from the vision of Mr. Benny Binion and his legacy
continues through his family and this event. The total amount of donations from this sale
to the ProRodeo Hall of Fame since its inception in 1998 is over $815,000.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of the many valued PRCA Stock
Contractors and volunteers for the countless hours each of them puts into this event.
The support from all of the people who have purchased stock over the years is greatly
appreciated. This annual fundraising event is vital to the overall success of the Hall of
Fame and plays an important role in the Hall achieving its goals.
A special thanks to the Stock Contractors, who above and beyond their normal
contribution from the proceeds of last year’s sale, also contributed an additional $4,000 for
the Hall of Fame to develop a traveling exhibit and display. It was their intent to assist the
Hall of Fame in gaining more public awareness not only during the WNFR but at other
events and activities we attend each year. We are happy to announce that with additional
support from the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, the ProRodeo Hall of Fame is
rolling out its new portable exhibit at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo this year!
The ProRodeo Hall of Fame is especially grateful to Trustee member Mr. Michael
Gaughan and the South Point Hotel and Casino for hosting this event in their wonderful
Equestrian Center. We are very proud to call the South Point Equestrian Center our
home for the 2013 Benny Binion Bucking Horse and Bull Sale.
Thanks to all for making this event a huge success for the ProRodeo Hall of Fame and
Museum of the American Cowboy.
With Sincere Thanks and Appreciation,
