The 29
th
annual Benny Binion’s Bucking Horse & Bull Sale will be Thursday, December
5
th
at 9am and Saturday, December 7
th
at 9am at the South Point Equestrian Center in
Las Vegas. Our world famous bucking stock auction features premiere barebacks,
saddle broncs, bulls, pickup horses and breeding stock from the U.S. and Canada.
It is a unique event as it is a rodeo and an auction combined into one outstanding event.
We buck “em and then sell “em. Thousands of spectators attend the bucking stock sale
each year. Tickets are available in advance for $12 or on the day of the event for $15.
The contestants compete for prize money during the 2013 Roughstock Permit Holder of
the Year Challenge held during the auction. The Bull Classic event will be held during
the auction on Thursday starting at 9am.
The auction sells between 200 to 250 head of livestock and annual sale proceeds have
exceed $1,000,000 during past years.
The bucking stock sale is produced by the PRCA Stock Contractors and many
volunteers. The proceeds of the auction benefit the ProRodeo Hall of Fame, various
charities and scholarships.
