Here is a direct daughter of the 310N Donor cow selling and only the
second ever offered. Sired by Yardmaster, this April heifer is a deep,
super soft, easy fleshing female. These Yardmaster daughters are all so
deep flanked and bold sprung. She is halter broke and has been easy to
work with. She would work in the show ring as Yardmaster daughters
are winning shows all over, but her true value will be in the pasture. If
we were not trying to showcase the 10’s, this heifer wouldn’t be offered.
Brent likes to hoard females so don’t miss out on an opportunity to own
one of his “not-for-sale” females.

This is our tenth bull sale so Brent wanted to celebrate the anniversary
by showcasing his “10” line of Red Angus with 7 bulls and 2 open heif-
ers. 310N is another feature and if she wasn’t a flushing machine with
more embryos in storage than we know what to do with and several
daughters running around she wouldn’t be for sale. This cow is be-
ing sold as a donor cow only as 3 of her teats were frozen a few years
back and no longer work. However, her potential is unlimited. She
has averaged 16 eggs frozen on 11 flushes with a high of 30 embryos
frozen in one flush. In her last flush she froze 22. Now the story on this
cow family. Kelly went to the Lonker Red Angus sale when he was in
college and bought Boot Jack Ranch Lana 6110 bred to King Rob for
$1,300 but didn’t have the money to pay for her. He called Brent who
was in high school and got him to buy her. The calf in her was 310N.
We AI’d her to Reballa’s Robin and got a daughter 410 (grand dam of
lot 24 ) and then bred 6110 to Ravishing Lightening a Red Lightening X
Fed’s Blockana 692 son and got the 510R cow dam of lot 12 and grand
dam of lots 1 and 69. 310N raised the high seller in our ’06 sale and
the second high seller in ’07. Up next were twin Bulls born the year her
teats froze. We kept one of those bulls to use in our registered herd. He
sired the champion steer at the Smith County Fair this past summer and
had progeny in our production sales as well. We started flushing 310N
and bred her naturally twice after the twins and had to bottle feed and
foster out those calves one of which is lot 67. The EPD’s on this “10”
line have always been low as the original 6110 cow currently reads a 29
YW EPD which gives her super productive daughters unfair low grow
numbers. This donor earned a 105.7 MPPA on her first 5 calves she
raised naturally. We are selling 100% of her so you have the salvage
value and get every egg she produces after you buy her. Sells open and
ready to flush.
