Here is a Final Answer son that you really have to
appreciate. He is extremely deep bodied and soft in his
flank with plenty of thickness throughout. He is a top
1% CE and BW bull, top 2% API and top 10% on Marbling.

We reduced the energy in our ration compared to
recent years and the bull’s performance on test
was still quite good.
However their EPD’s, the
most accurate way to compare bulls, are the
best we have ever produced.
The bulls in this sale average 143 for API, the top
20% of Hybrid Bulls, and average 76 for TI, better
than the top 25% of all Hybrid Bulls.
54 bulls in this sale have an API score of 154 or
higher ranking in the top 10% of the breed for
API among Hybrid Bulls.
These bulls have an average CE EPD of 15 and BW
EPD of -1.9, both better than the top 15%.

Bigger BW Bulls in Our Sale
Several factors influence birth weight (BW) besides
genetics. Very cold weather prior to calving has been
shown to increase BW one pound for each degree
below the average temperature. Last February was
very cold and we saw some larger birth weights.
However, BW EPD is the best indicator of the birth
weight of a bull’s calves. Lot 37, for example had a
larger BW but his BW EPD is -2.8 (top 10%) indicating
that his calves will be below average for BW.
The bottom line is I guarantee that any bull in the
sale when used on mature cows will not cause
calving difficulties. If one does, you don’t own
him, no questions asked. We will refund your
money or give you full credit in next year’s sale.

impressive IMF score of 5.81! He is a full brother to Lot
1 in last year’s sale offering. There is plenty of
performance as well with a ratio of 108 for WW and YW
