Dear Friends:
Please plan to join us on Saturday, December 12 at noon at the Culpeper Agricultural Enterprises as we host the Annual
Culpeper Senior Bull Sale. The sale offering will include 62 fall-born Angus, Gelbvieh, and Simmental yearling bulls.
Special thanks to Tom and Kim Nixon and family, and all the staff at Glenmary Farm for their development and care of
the bulls and their partnership with BCIA.
We have been the beneficiaries of record times in the beef business, with strong market prices and a product that is
second to none among consumers. The cow-calf sector has been in great position to build their financial position the
last couple of years. An important component of building for future success is investment in genetics which will improve
and advance the herd. This set of bulls affords that opportunity. We encourage you to study them closely as there are
bulls to fit many genetic goals, including heifer bulls, growth and maternal bulls, and carcass bulls. Many balance these
components very well, and are of several breeds.
Virginia BCIA and the Culpeper Senior Sale has stood the test of time due to the commitment of its participating
breeders. These cattlemen work hard to design genetics that will provide predictable performance and get the job done
for you. The consignors have worked hard to uphold and maintain this long history, and are offering a strong set of bulls
genetically designed to meet your needs. All bulls sell with the BCIA enhanced guarantee, which provides assurance for
soundness and fertility, and a promise to you that we stand behind our product.
Again this year, the sale will be available online through DV Auction. If you cannot join us in person, we hope this
service provides you the convenience and ability to participate in the sale. See details contained in this catalog for more
information. Complimenting this, video is available on all the bulls which can be accessed on the BCIA website. As
always, we will have bidding available over the telo-auction or feel free to give one of us a call if you need assistance
prior to or during the sale. We would be happy to assist you any way we can to secure a bull that meets your needs.
Feel free to stop by Glenmary Farm near Rapidan any time to view the bulls. They will be at the sale facility the day prior
to the sale. Please feel free to contact any of the consignors, Tom Nixon of Glenmary Farm at 540-672-7396 or myself at
540-231-9159 if we can be of assistance. We hope to see you at Culpeper on Saturday, December 12.
Sincerely,
