Tribute to A Great One
Tribute to a bull. Mission Statement (2004-2015) wasn’t just any bull.
He was a special one. We were fortunate to find himand buy him (with
Two Bit Ranch- The Eklund Family and Genex) in the spring of 2005
at our good friends, Croissant Red Angus near Briggsdale, CO. The rest
is now as they say, history. Through the years he roamed our pastures
only a couple of seasons and spent most of his time at the stud col-
lecting semen. As a Red Angus sire, he left his mark of significance by
combining growth and carcass in a way that was unprecedented. He
entered the top ten (Registrations by Sire) in 2008 and quickly made
his way to #1 of the breed. As you can see by this chart, Mission State-
ment has clearly seen “significant” use in the breed.
