SALE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All animals sold will be sold in ordinance with the suggested guide-
lines of the American Simmental Association. For updated EPD’s,
genetic status, plus the current ASA guidelines and conditions go to
. Announcements made sale day and from the
auction block during the sale take precedence of printed material
associated with this sale. Anyone attending the sale attends at his
or her own risk, Shenandoah Valley Simmentals or CID will not be
responsible for any personal injury while attending this sale.
SEMEN INTEREST
Shenandoah Valley Simmentals will be selling full possession and
70% semen interest of all bulls, and retaining 30% semen interest.
The buyer has full control, full possession, 100% of the salvage
value and 70% semen interest. Any bulls that Shenandoah Valley
Simmentals wishes to collect for in herd use semen will be done
at the buyers convenience and Shenandoah Valley Simmentals
expense. This will affect very few bulls.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Announcements at the sale by the owner, auctioneer, or sale man-
agement will take precedence over statements made in the sale
catalog. We reserve the right to withdraw any sale lot not meeting
our specifications prior to the sale.
BULL GUARANTEE
All bulls have passed a complete breeding soundness examination.
Bulls are guaranteed to be breeders as per the American Simmental
Association guidelines, barring abuse, neglect and poor manage-
ment practices.
HERD HEALTH
All females will sell with proper health certificates for immediate
interstate shipment. The bred females have been pregnancy
examined and are confirmed safe, unless otherwise posted or
announced. For cattle leaving Virginia, a Certificate of Veterinary In-
spection will be available for immediate shipment. Cattle requiring
additional health measures for entry into their state of destination
will have tests performed within one week of the sale at the seller’s
expense. Each animal will be at the purchaser’s risk immediately
after it is sold. A detailed update sheet and sale order will be avail-
able sale day.
SALE REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT
All buyer numbers will be issued with a valid ID, and payment is
due the day of the sale, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Cattle In Demand would appreciate timely settlement of all receiv-
ables within 15 days of the sale date. Cattle will NOT be transferred
until paid for in full.
REGISTRATION CERTIFICATES
Cattle will be transferred to the buyer at the seller’s expense. Buyers
must provide the sale clerk with complete information for transfer-
ring registration certificates.
EPD’S
The EPD’s listed are the Spring 2017 numbers. Please note that the
EPD’s may change from the time the sale catalog is printed until the
registration papers are transferred.
