Order Buying

For the last 15 years Mark has had his order buying license and bond. He has complied with
annual reports to the packer and stockyards. He has purchased between 6000 and 13000 cattle annu-
ally of which a large portion are Pieper Bull Customers calves. Many of these steers have been harvested
which has enabled us to obtain lots of data. Average yields have been between 64% and 65% last year
and almost 900 steers went on the Red Angus Tyson grid. e Red Angus feeder calf program, of which
Mark helped implement years ago, has enabled cattle buyers to identify good Red Angus cattle and we
encourage our customers to use the yellow tag. We feel as a seed stock breeder we should be committed
to our customers to get the most money out of thier Pieper sired calves. If you are selling or wanting to
