Guaranteed Breeders
Dr. Steve Schultz has done a stringent BSE (Breeding
Soundness Evaluation) on every bull in this sale. Each
bull selling has passed Dr. Schultz’s tests and is consid-
ered a satisfactory and potential breeder. All bulls are
guaranteed as breeding bulls through the first breeding
season. If a problem should arise, please contact any of
the above numbers and we will offer a replacement bull
of equal or greater quality. If a replacement bull is not
available when needed, a credit will be issued for Mound
Creek’s 2018 Bull Sale.
Herd Health
Mound Creek Ranch is a Brucellosis Certified Free. All
cattle have been inspected for health and fertility by our
veterinarian, are current with annual vaccinations and
come with interstate health papers.

Cattle Load Out
Cattle can be loaded out during and after the sale. We
ask that any pot-sized loads wait until the conclusion of
the sale. We will load out cattle on Saturday and Sunday
and ask that each buyer inform the clerks of your desire
to load out on Sunday along with an approximate time of
arrival. If you require a load out on another day, please
inform the clerks as to your desired date and time.

Genetic Conditions
Genetic conditions discovered in Brangus cattle popula-
tions are simple recessive genetic conditions first report-
ed in Brangus in 2013. Every animal in this sale noted
as FREE is either free of any known genetic condition by
pedigree or has been tested FREE for a potential condi-
tion. Animals in this catalog tested as a recessive carrier
is noted with a “C” in that given condition prefix. Example
would be a DDC noted animal is a tested carrier for that
condition. Animals noted with a “PC” in their condition
prefix is a potential carrier for that given condition and
awaitng final test results to determine if FREE or a Carri-
er for a given condition. Final status on PC animals will
available at sale time. This sale represents the lowest
% of known carriers in the breed. As of this writing only
three animals are known carriers in the entire sale.

at least 24 hours prior

have been approved to bid. A buyer’s number will
not be provided until you have made a purchase.
4. After the sale, contact Cattle Brokers, Inc. to make
arrangements for payment and transportation.
