Minert/Simonson Angus Ranch
In Loving Memory...
Today is a day
That we know grieving hurts
And we are aware
This pain could be so much worse.
Had you not left behind
So much for us
Then loosing you
Would be harder to clutch
We grasp the memories
As the tears fill our faces
And surrender now as you
Soar in God’s graces
Your loss is troubling,
But we ponder over you
We think of all the memories
Even though we are blue.
NOW— to tell of a great legend
Some may have never seen
And reveal to these people
The things that made you beam
For starters your grandkids,
whom made your life full
With laughter and love and..
Moments never dull
There was never a smile
That was worn so proud
The bulls that you raised
Were glorious aspects of your life
Along with the most meaningful:
Your kids and your wife.
You stood true to your values and
morals
Through each stepping stone
Never straying far apart
From the ethics you had known.
You brought many people success
As a husband, dad, and teacher
Guiding many through 4-H
You taught them their best feature.
You were quite the standout
In the agricultural sphere
And the people that were with you
Will wish you were still here.
You never left a client
Without an undoubting pleasure
You have given those in your life
Way beyond measure.
You will be missed by many,
But know your life has been full
Watch over us from up there.
Rest easy, Lowell.
Poem by Shelby Saner Hamilton
Than yours when you grandkids
Shone bright in a crowd.
Those kids were blessed
By your immeasurable support
It’s a fact that for them
Your love never fell short
You always had that camera
No matter where you went
Snapping all of the pictures
OF your times well spent.
You engulfed all of the moments
And days on the ranch
With the angus cows, bulls, and heifers
And the kids in the tree branch
The third Saturday in February was
your favorite time of year
And come that time this next
We will ALL shed a tear.
A close second fell behind
At the end of month eight
When state fair came upon us
You just couldn’t wait!
You ran things like a leader
Who was never known before
You would journey back and forth
But never miss a chore.
