Friends and Cattlemen,
We are in an industry that is affected drastically
by uncontrollable circumstances: drought,
harsh winters, cattle and feed prices. For us,
preparing for our bull sale always brings a time
of reflection. As we head into our 19th sale year
Donalyn and I have come to the conclusion
the more things change, the more they stay the
same. First and foremost our family, friends,
and customers are an integral part of our
business and the most important part. Second,
our producing seedstock is one of the common
bonds that tie us all together. “We are in the
people business and we sell bulls.” Through the
cattle industry, we have made many friends that we would not have met otherwise.
Selling bulls is our job, but serving our friends and neighbors is what is important
to us. We take our job seriously because of the relationships we have with our
customers. We want to produce cattle that will increase your bottom line. We care
that you get efficient, functional, and fault free cattle. We know and understand
that our clientele run their cattle in a less than ideal environment. Consequently,
we strive to produce cattle that will perform in these conditions.
We do not creep feed our calves, so that you will not find inflated weaning weights,
but a true measure of our cattle’s performance. Adding these bull’s progeny to your
herd will give you the efficiency and the effectiveness of the Angus breed.
We would love for you to join us on March 30 at the Imperial Auction Market at 11
AM (MDT) for a complimentary lunch with the sale starting at 12:30. We would
be happy to talk to you at any time about our bulls and heifers that would benefit
your herd. You are also more than welcome to stop by prior to the sale to view the
cattle.
Sincerely,
Todd and Donalyn Hasenauer
