What to expect from the balancer group?
Herd sire’s with 75% or less Gelbvieh with the remaining breed make up of either being Angus or Red Angus
are in the
“Balancer”
group. The
“Balancer”
is documented crossbreeding that allows you to add an influ-
ence of Gelbvieh to your herd to the degree that fits your breeding program. The Gelbvieh Breed has been a
leader in the effort to adapt to the needs and wants of the Ranch with Innovation and Flexibility. You are
going to find some very High Performance Genetics in the Balancer group with the likes of
“Astro”
and
“The
Judge”
being used to create balancer’s and the likes of some High Performance Angus or Red Angus sires
like
“Chisum”, “Net Worth” and Complete Package
being used on the Angus/Red Angus side.
