Special volume buyer discounts. A 5% volume discount
will be given to any one family ranching operation
purchasing 5 to 9 bulls. A 10% volume discount will
be given to any one family ranching operation purchasing
10 bulls or more. There is a $50 per head discount if you
haul your own bull sale day.
Welcome
Welcome to our 32nd annual sale. It seems that the years go by faster every year and in the blink of an eye
it is gone. When reflecting on cattle prices, rain on Christmas Day, and the presidential race, it has definitely
been an interesting year!
Bull sales around the country are in full swing and seem to be strong. Cattle prices are on an upswing
so that’s encouraging. A fairly mild winter sure helped with feed and the work load. The geese are flying
overhead, a sure sign that spring is in the air. New calves are on the ground and so far not much mud to deal
with. Life is good on the farm!
This year’s offering includes 60 powerful, high performance, yearling bulls with built in feed efficiency,
calving ease and carcass traits. We are also offering 13 very fancy open heifers right out of our replacement
pen. The bulls wintered well and are gaining every day. Their quiet dispositions are second to none and most
of the offering are polled. The animals have been ultrasounded and the bulls will be semen tested and scrotal
measured prior to the sale. Scrotal measurements and ultrasound data will be available on sale day.
These bulls and heifers are sired by EC Done Deal, ACC-ORR Lock-N-Load, EC High Tech, EC Major Impact,
EC Statesman, JLS Legend, LT Ledger, OCR Magnum A140, and WCR Rolling Thunder.
New to our sale this year are 40-45 pair of Black Baldie F1 heifers with Charolais calves at side. The heifers
are consigned by Wade and Christina Christensen, Wessington Springs, SD. For more information give Wade

Look through our catalog and we are sure that you will find a bull to fit your program and needs. Your
satisfaction is our main concern and goal for you as our customers, old and new.
As in the past, I am retaining 1/3 interest of every bull in the sale. This does not change anything for you,
the buyer. It only means that I may want to collect some semen (at my expense and at your convenience) for
use in my herd or if I want to help promote a certain bull or blood line. Using our own genetics has really
strengthened our program. We are making every effort to improve genetics that we can pass along to our
customers. You still get all the salvage value when you are done with the bull.
WE THRIVE ON YOUR SATISFACTION! For those of you that can’t make it to the sale, we will do
whatever we can to help you with your selections. If you talk to us about buying a bull sight unseen, we
guarantee he will meet your criteria and you’ll be happy with
your purchase or you don’t own the bull. DVAuction will again
be an option for those of you who are unable to attend the sale.
