Bata Heifer Health Comments
Our herd has been tested for ten years in the North Dakota Voluntary Johne’s Herd Status Program and have
reached a status of Level 3. All animals tested have tested negative. Heifers were calf-hood bangs vaccinated
and given rumen magnets, and pre-breeding vaccinated with Bovi Shield Gold FP VL5, Anthrax, Foot Rot, and
Vision 7 w/somnus. They were ultrasound pregnancy tested in August, with rechecks done September, 29 by
Dr. Nathan Kjelland, DVM. They are guaranteed bred to the sire listed in the footnotes unless otherwise noted
from the auction block. Heifers received Ivermectin in early December for deworming and parasite control
and will receive two Guardian vaccine scour shots prior to the sale.
