Reading the Data
about the offering
We are excited about this year’s Performance Meets Style sale offering. We have 5 young show
heifer prospects to lead off the female offering and are featuring a pick of two Out Cross bred
heifers out of the granddam of Atlanta. They are as good as it gets and we will be retaining the
heifer not selected in our herd.
You will see the influence of the iconic 804H33 cow throughout the offering. She continues to
impress and we continue to build on her genetics through the influence of her sons and daughters
and their sons and daughters. This year’s sale is also heavily influenced by the genetics captured
through 38L and her high valued daughter, 38R2. These great females epitomize our philosophy
of Performance and Style.
It is even more gratifying to see the accomplishments of our herd sires on the ground.
International champions Legacy and Hercules continue to perform in the pasture as well. Out
Cross and Masterplan continue to sire true heavyweights in the pasture in a moderate, easy
fleshing package that will work in the harsh South Texas environment. Bulls like Spartacus and
Weatherby continue to add the ground pounding weaning weights necessary to thrive in the
cattle industry.
We want to extend a special thanks to our friends and cooperators who have chosen to participate in this year’s sale with us. To both our female consignors
and bull cooperators, we appreciate the confidence you have expressed in our program.
This year we are offering more bulls than ever before. We have 120 lots cataloged and they are led by the outstanding One Source, the son of 2012
International Champion Legacy. He features true performance top and bottom and the style to compete. We are also featuring Prime Design, the good
Ultrablack son of Southern Special Force, from
our partner Charles Crochet.
You will find a set of structurally correct herd
sire prospects with the guess work taken out.
These bulls were developed with their longevity
in mind and are not only sound but conditioned
to hold up in the toughest environments. They
were developed in large grass traps and are big
topped and heavy ended.
We hope you will join us for our educational
program on Friday October 17th when we
will hear about the only thing free in the cattle
business, heterosis, and for the steak dinner
immediately following. Then come back on
Saturday for the best sale offering we have
ever assembled at Doguet’s Diamond D. If any
our the sale team of ourselves can be of any
assistance, please call on us.
